🎙️ For the First Time, the Phone is Yours

For millions of people who are Deaf, non-speaking, or live with speech conditions, a simple phone call has always been out of reach—awkward workarounds, relay services, or complete silence.
TelAvatar changes that.

Through real-time AI voice generation and fully customizable identity settings, TelAvatar lets you speak for yourself—clearly, naturally, and confidently—without ever needing to make a sound.

You type what you want to say, and how you want to say it. TelAvatar speaks it aloud using a voice that you designed—one that reflects your personality, your presence, your identity.

To the person on the other end of the call, it’s seamless.
They don’t hear a machine.
They don’t hear a stranger.
They hear your presence.

And unless you choose to tell them, they’ll never know the voice they’re hearing was generated.

This isn’t just accessibility.
This is autonomy. This is dignity. This is your voice—on your terms.

🔧 Step 1: You Build It — We Don’t Assign It

Every voice begins with you. TelAvatar will never assign you a generic “robotic” voice or make assumptions about who you are. Instead, you’ll be guided through a thoughtful process that helps shape your vocal identity in ways that feel authentic—even if you’ve never heard or used a voice before.

Rather than forcing you to think in musical or technical terms, we let you build your voice around how you see yourself:

  • Gender Expression: Masculine, feminine, androgynous, or undefined.

  • Vocal Personality: Gentle, assertive, playful, calm, confident, vibrant—how do you want to be perceived?

  • Cultural Flavor (optional): Choose tones and accents inspired by regional or cultural traits: from Southern Black American warmth to Irish urban brightness, or Bronx toughness to Midwestern smoothness.

  • Pitch & Resonance: We use simple visual waveforms, not audio. You can indicate preferences for lower, mid, or higher-pitched voices based on icons or emotional intent (e.g., “strong,” “approachable,” “dynamic”).

  • Speed & Cadence: Choose your pacing—slow, steady, fast—based on how you’d like conversations to feel.

We describe everything with visual, symbolic, and emotional language, never relying on hearing-based feedback alone. Because TelAvatar is designed first and foremost for non-hearing, non-speaking users.

🤖 Optional: AI Voice Starter

If you’re unsure where to begin, TelAvatar can use optional inputs to generate a starter voice suggestion:

  • A selfie to estimate facial structure and age

  • Your location or cultural background (if shared)

  • A short personality quiz

This AI-generated voice is not permanent. It’s just a starting point to help you explore possibilities. You can modify it as much or as little as you want. You are never locked in.

🧩 Custom Greetings and Identity Tags

Once you’ve created your voice, you can:

  • Save preset greetings in your voice (e.g., “Hi, this is Maya.”)

  • Add tags to your voice like:
“Warm, young, bold, Caribbean accent” or
    “Quiet, steady, masculine, Appalachian”

These tags help express your style when you share or adjust your voice settings in the future.

🔁 You’re Free to Evolve

Just like people change, so can your voice.

  • Want to try something more confident? Duplicate your voice and tweak the tone.

  • Exploring gender fluidity? Create multiple versions to reflect different days or phases.

  • Recovering from trauma or experimenting with identity? TelAvatar supports the freedom to reimagine how you’re heard—without judgment.
